28 sheets of 18"x12" paper are placed on the floor around a bank's discarded mirrored end table. The paper: made from a blend abaca, cotton half-stuff, and a variety of recycled jeans and sweatpants, which begin to resemble weathered concrete as they lay overlapped. Shifting with the gallery's changing light, a cow skin rug lies beneath a two chairs. Seated upon the reflective pedastal is a translucent storage container filled with wet leaf matter and developing fungus gnats, circling through cycles of life death and rebirth, the continuum of reclamation and recycling are embodied within the installation.
